It Snows A lot Here

It does seem to snow a lot here.

Each house has a snowblower.

There is a strict code that says every house must be cleared every day.

While niseko gold falls from the sky at minus 7 degrees.

Hopes are high for the day of the season on Tuesday but let me tell you that tomorrow could be my day of the season so far.

As we drive through hyperdrive hopes are high.

Well there it is, the secret resort!

It wouldn't stay secret if the pic wasn't taken at night in a snowstorm.

Puking outside right now & the weather is expected to be bad tomorrow.

Niseko Mountain Spirits

Isn't it amazing when you travel to a faraway land and instantly feel at home.

I have been in Niseko for 24hrs and already feel like I have been here forever.

I think it has to do with the spirits living on this mountain.

Mostly a bluebird day today, there was still plenty of powder to be found.

Off to a secret resort tomorrow. Can't wait to see what we find there!

Loafing Around In Kutchan

24hrs after leaving our sunny shores, we have arrived in Kutchan.

A quick trip up to Niseko has the adrenaline flowing in anticipation!

There is some call for serious snow tonight but the locals can't see it.
